Our Story
Our Founder and CEO, Christopher Mudgett, dreamed up KurbAlert while on a walk where he saw a beautiful piece of furniture discarded along a sidewalk. He thought about how great it would be if a person or family in need of this furniture could know about it, and that is when he decided to develop an app to solve this problem. He believes that creating the KurbAlert app will help connect many people who can mutually help each other.
The main purpose of KurbAlert is to connect owners of
items/Products who are no longer in need of these items to
connect with a user who can either use in need of this item or
can refurbish it to make it usable for its new owner.
Whenever we cross a sidewalk or a house where a beautiful
piece of furniture is discarded by its owner to replace with a
new one, we always have an urge to take it home, or find a
place where it can fit, so it can avoid the dump.
